the tragedies unfolding around her aren't just coincidences but her own
doing."

STORYBOARD:
MOOD BOARD OF THE SHORT FILM:
My partner and I put together this mood board on 24th February , we picked
out images from Pinterest that aligned well with the theme of our short
film. We wanted to make sure the visuals matched the eerie, psychological
thriller feel we were going for, so we focused on things like lighting,
colors, and framing that stood out to us. It helped us get a clearer idea of
how we wanted our film to look.
HIRING Of CAST AND CREW:
FATIMA SHAFQAT AS THE PROTOAGNIST:
CHARACTER'S MOOD BOARD:
We casted Fatima Shafqat, who is also the sister of my media partner, as the protagonist (Aimen) in our short film because we knew she would convey the character perfectly and was prefect for this role. Convincing her was easy once we shared the story and told her how much we wanted her to play in it,
she was just as excited as us to make it happen. From the very start she
understood the character's emotions, pain, anger, fear and the guilt
that slowly consumes the protagonist. Fatima has a natural talent for
bringing emotions to life, making every scene feel raw and real. Watching
her bring the character to life was amazing, and it made our story even more
real. Plus, working with her made the whole experience even better not just
because she's talented, but because she's a friend. We couldn't have asked a
better person to play this role in our short film.
FATIMA AHMAD AS THE MAIN BULLY:
CHARACTER'S MOOD BOARD:
We casted my sister, Fatima Ahmad, as the bully in our short film because we
knew she could bring the character to life in a powerful way. Convincing her
wasn't easy because at first she laughed it off but later when we shared our
vision with her she was onboard and embraced the role fully. She has this
natural ability to bring intensity to a scene making the character
feel more intimidating and real. From the way she delivers her lines to the
subtle expressions that add depth to the character, she makes every scene
more impactful. Working with her was a great experience one minute we'd be
laughing off camera the next, she'd completely switch into character. She
understood exactly how to make the role feel powerful without overdoing it.
Her performance added so much depth to the story, making the tension even
stronger. We cant imagine anyone else playing this role as well as she did.
ZAINAB SHAFQAT AS THE BULLY'S SIDEKICK:
Zainab Shafqat my partner in media, was also cast in our short film as the
sidekick of the bully. She wanted to be apart of the short film because she
knew she'd be a good match for the role and she and was right. She had the
right personality to perfectly capture the role of the side kick, making her
character feel authentic and natural, Since we've worked together from the
start, she already understood the vision, which made the processes so much
smoother. she brought a natural presence to her role, making every scene
feel more real. On set, she balanced acting and contributing to the film's
direction so effortlessly. Having her both as a partner and an actor in the
film made the whole process even more fun and meaningful.
HAMAYAL ASIM AS THE PROTOAGNIST'S FRIEND:
Our next cast member was Hamayal Asim, who played the protagonist's
friend and she was perfect for the role. She has this natural innocence and
warmth, the kind of friend who will always think the best for u and the one
who would always have your back, which made her character feel so
real.
It wasn't hard to convince her once we explained that we saw her in this
role she was excited to be apart of it. She brought a genuine kindness to
her performance , making her friendship with the protagonist feel more
authentic. She truly embodied that loyal, supportive friend every person
needs. We couldn't have picked anyone better for this role
LOCATION RECCE:
RISK ASSESSMENT:
SCHEDULLING:
To ensure an efficient and well organized filming process, we worked closely with our cast and crew to align everyone's availability and to create a practical shooting schedule. After careful consideration, we set Day 1 of filming at our school, where we captured the classroom and hallway scenes, On February 26th, we transitioned to Amna's house for Day 2, providing the ideal environment to portray the protagonist's personal struggles. by thoughtfully planning our schedule, we were able to optimize our time, reduce potential conflicts and smoothly film all the essential scenes without unnecessary delaysPROPS AND COSTUMES:
